Fried Chicken wings
Equipment
- large pot or deep fryer
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wing pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cracked pepper
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- season wings with salt and pepper and refrigerate for 1 hour
- In a shallow bowl combine flour,garlic powder, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper. Working with one at a time , coat the wings in flour.
- In a large pot over medium heat, heat the oil and working in small batches, fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through
- drain on paper towel and serve warm.
