Fried Chicken wings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken wing pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked pepper
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying

Equipment

  • large pot or deep fryer

Method
 

  1. season wings with salt and pepper and refrigerate for 1 hour
  2. In a shallow bowl combine flour,garlic powder, mustard powder, and cayenne pepper. Working with one at a time , coat the wings in flour.
  3. In a large pot over medium heat, heat the oil and working in small batches, fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through
  4. drain on paper towel and serve warm.
