Diane Sauce Recipe

*1 Tablespoon olive oil
* 1 small brown onion
* 1 clove crushed garlic
* 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
*  2/3 cups cream 160ml

Heat medium frying pan over medium heat, Add oil, Onion and garlic. Cook , stirring for 3 minutes or until onion has softened.

Add remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil. Simmer, Uncovered, for 3 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly.


Blue Cheese Sauce

* 200g blue cheese
*1/3 cup sour cream
* 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
* 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1/2 teaspoon paprika
* pinch of cayenne pepper

Place 150 g of blue cheese with other sauce ingredients into a bowl, season with salt and pepper and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Spoon sauce over your steak and crumble over the remaining cheese. Serve with parsley potatoes.
