Greek Shish Kebabs
A great summer dish, serve with a salad and a slice of lemon. Ideal on the BBQ
Ingredients
- 750 grams diced lamb leg
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
Marinade
- 100 gram Greek yogurt
- 1/2 onion grated
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp mint chopped
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 8 skewers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, onion, garlic, lemon juice,oil, mint and seasoning. add lamb and toss to coat, you can cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
- Thread lamb onto skewers. Cook on a hot BBQ for 10-12 minutes, turning 2-3 times, until cooked through. Garnish with mint and lemon wedges.
